Brush top with an egg wash before baking for a perfectly golden crust
Enjoy with a baby gem salad on the side (recipe online!)
Pairs great with a glass of Grüner Veltliner or freshly brewed iced tea
Place dish in the fridge to thaw overnight or for 24 hours.
Pre-heat oven to 400°F (we recommend preheating for at least 30 minutes, it's very important the oven is nice and hot when you put the dish in!)
Place dish into the oven uncovered and immediately turn the oven temperature down to 350°F. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the top is completely golden brown and the filling is hot. (Try not to open the oven for the first 45 minutes of cooking.)
Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Hommage bakehouse, led by head baker Justin Gaspar, serves creative yet traditional pastries and freshly baked bread. You may recognize Justin from Manresa Bread Co. in Los Gatos or Hulu’s Baker’s Dozen where he took home the golden rolling pin (displayed at the bakehouse!). Known for his laminated dough, Justin’s menu reflects the time-honored tradition and meticulous craft of a French bakery while paying “hommage” to his Asian American roots.
